Our first big community service event is here!

WHAT:  Rails to Trails – A local non-profit organization that is converting an old railroad track into community walking trails.

WHEN:  0800 – 1200 on Saturday, September 30th

WHERE:  FCPS bus transportation to East West Park, 1115 Prospect RD, Mt. Airy, MD

MEET:  Please meet at the GTJHS NJROTC courtyard doors near the tennis court (Park in auxillary gym parking area)

HOW DO I SIGN UP?  Click the link below to register online through the Google form.  (Please note that there is a separate waiver that needs to be completed on that website)

Community service hours are a requirement to return to the program.  Your active participation is a factor in selecting eligible cadets for our big orientation trip to San Diego next year, so please consider joining us.  We only have room on the bus for 40 cadets.  Please don’t wait to register.

FIELD TRIP – U.S. NAVAL ACADEMY (28 SEP 23)

PLEASE COMPLETE THE PERMISSION FORM  BELOW AND RETURN TO CHIEF RODRIGUES BY WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 20TH.  THE FORM MUST HAVE THE CADETS NAME, PARENTS SIGNATURE, TEACHERS SIGNATURES FROM EACH BLOCK, AND THE $10.00 FEE.  (CASH OR CHECK PAYABLE TO, “PATRIOT NJROTC.”

THE FIRST 40 ARE GUARANTEED A SPOT ON THE BUS.  IF I HAVE AN ADDITIONAL 20 PLUS BEFORE THE 20TH, I WILL ORDER A SECOND BUS.  PLEASE DON’T WAIT!
